Simplébo: Real Pricing and Total Cost Over 3 Years

The full invoice, not just the monthly rate

When comparing subscription-based website offers, the displayed monthly rate only tells part of the story. The real question isn't "how much per month", it's "how much in total over the commitment period, and what do I own when I stop paying". With Simplébo, like all rental formulas, you pay setup fees upfront, then a subscription that runs as long as you want to keep the site online. What changes everything: the site isn't yours.

What Simplébo charges (public figures, early 2026)

Simplébo pricing breaks down into two lines: setup fees, paid once, and monthly subscription, starting from launch. Exact amounts depend on the chosen formula, but in early 2026, offers are displayed around:

    • Setup fees: between €400 and €2,000, depending on the formula and requested options (number of pages, features, support level).
    • Monthly subscription: between €60 and €240 per month, following the same logic. Entry-level formulas run around €60-80/month, mid-range around €120-150/month, and premium formulas can reach €200-240/month.

What's included in the subscription: hosting, technical maintenance, security updates, and support for content changes (text, images). Some formulas also include basic local SEO and priority phone support.

    Cumulative cost over 3 years

The subscription runs as long as you pay. Over 36 months, here's what three formula profiles look like:

    • Entry formula (€60/month, €400 setup): 400 + (60 × 36) = €2,560 over 3 years.
    • Mid-range formula (€120/month, €1,000 setup): 1,000 + (120 × 36) = €5,320 over 3 years.
    • Premium formula (€200/month, €1,800 setup): 1,800 + (200 × 36) = €9,000 over 3 years.

These amounts are for 3 years. If you keep the site for 5 years, the entry formula rises to €4,000, mid-range to €8,200, premium to €13,800. It's not a criticism, it's the principle of a subscription: you pay for ongoing service. But you need to know what you're really buying.

    What's included, what isn't

The Simplébo subscription covers hosting, technical maintenance, backups, security updates, and support for modifying your content (text, images, hours). It's a managed service: you don't handle the technical side.

What's generally not included: custom features (specific booking module, integration with your business software), paid advertising (Google Ads), complete writing of new content, and graphic redesign beyond minor changes. These services can be offered as options, with additional cost.

The most important point: site ownership. With a subscription formula, the source code and domain name generally remain tied to the provider as long as the subscription is active. If you stop paying, the site is deactivated. Some contracts provide for ownership transfer under conditions (buyout, balance payment): this must be read in the contract before signing, because it's not automatic.

    Commitment and exit conditions

Simplébo formulas generally work with a 12 to 36-month commitment. During this period, you're required to pay the subscription each month, even if you want to stop. After the commitment, the subscription continues tacitly: you can cancel anytime, but if you cancel, the site is cut off.

Concretely: if you sign for 24 months at €100/month and want to stop at the 10th month, you must continue paying until the 24th. If you stop paying after 24 months, the site disappears, and you don't recover the code or the invested work, unless the contract states otherwise.

When it's a good choice, when it's not

Simplébo is a good option if you're looking for a turnkey site with ongoing support, have no technical skills, and prefer a predictable monthly cost over a heavier initial investment. It's also relevant if you know you'll need regular assistance to modify your content, and want someone to call in case of problems.

It's probably not the right choice if:

    • You want to own quickly. With a rental formula, you pay indefinitely, and the site never becomes yours. Over 3 years, you'll have paid several thousand euros for a tool you can't resell, transfer, or simply keep online without continuing to pay.
    • Your long-term budget is limited. €100 per month is €1,200 per year, €6,000 over 5 years. If you have seasonal activity or irregular income, this fixed charge can weigh heavy, especially compared to a solution you pay once.
    • You need specific features. Standardized formulas cover common needs well (showcase site, contact form, gallery), but as soon as you want a particular business module, the cost of options rises quickly, and you're not sure it's technically feasible within the subscription framework.

How Simplébo compares to other market formulas

There are three main pricing families for a website (we detailed them in our article on website pricing): rental formulas (Simplébo, Linkeo, Solocal), one-shot offers (you pay once, the site is yours), and mixed formulas that transfer ownership after a certain number of payments. Here's what it looks like in figures:

    Formula Amount paid Ownership
Simplébo entry (€60/month) €2,560 over 3 years No, unless buyout
Simplébo mid-range (€120/month) €5,320 over 3 years No, unless buyout
SDR Web Formula (€149/month) €1,788 over 12 months Yes, from 12th payment
SDR Web Standalone Pack €1,190 paid once Yes, immediately

The main difference isn't just the amount paid, it's what remains at the end. With our Formula, you pay €149/month over 12 payments, creation included, hosting and maintenance included, and at the 12th payment, the site and its code are yours. We continue managing everything as long as you want, but you're the owner. With the Standalone Pack at €1,190, you pay once, the site is delivered, you manage the rest yourself.

Take the example of a craftsman who needs a classic showcase site (5-6 pages, contact form, project gallery). With a rental formula at €100/month and €800 setup fees, he pays 800 + (100 × 36) = €4,400 over 3 years. If he stops at the end of 3 years, he no longer has a site. With our Formula at €149/month over 12 payments, he pays €1,788 the first year, and at the 12th payment, he's the owner. If he wants to continue support, he can. If he wants to manage alone, he can. If he wants to entrust maintenance to someone else, he can also.

    What to remember

    • Simplébo pricing combines setup fees (€400-2,000) and monthly subscription (€60-240/month), totaling between €2,500 and €9,000 over 3 years depending on the formula.
    • The subscription includes hosting, maintenance and support, but the site doesn't belong to you: if you stop paying, it's cut off.
    • Commitment generally runs between 12 and 36 months. After this period, the subscription continues tacitly until cancellation.
    • It's a good option if you're looking for a managed service with ongoing support and don't want to touch the technical side. It's not the right choice if you want to own quickly or if your long-term budget is limited.
    • Comparing a subscription and a one-shot offer on monthly amount alone says nothing. You need to count total cost over expected usage duration, and know what remains at the end.
